TIMELINE:


  • Jan 13-17 .......Teachers build their schedules
  • Jan 20-31........Special Ed, ESL schedule conferences
  • Feb. 3..............Parent window opens
  • Feb 16.............Parent window closes
  • Feb 17-28.........All remaining conferences are scheduled for classroom teachers and parents notified.
  • March 1 - 7..... Conferences

TEACHER MEMO:

As a reminder, ALL teachers are required to conduct conferences on the Wednesday from 2:00-4:00pm and the Thursday, from 4:00-8:00pm. Each teacher is also responsible for scheduling four additional hours of conferences outside of those times well. You have some flexibility in when you schedule those four hours. Please keep the following factors in mind:

  • The additional four hours must be held outside contract time.
  • The last conference on Wednesday will end at 6:00.  We need to adhere to district policy for Wednesday evening meeting times.
  • Conference slots should not go past 8:00 P.M. on any day.
  • Conference slots need to be scheduled between March 1-7.
  • Most special education conferences should be scheduled on the required dates/times so both the general education and special ed teacher may attend.  Please collaborate with each other and work with parents to pre-schedule these conferences.
ONLINE PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE SCHEDULING:
  • All teachers should determine their additional times prior to January 20.
  • Who will parents be able to see and schedule appointments with through the online system?                     Classroom teachers, Reading Lab, ELP
  • SPED and ESL will have admin access to the scheduler and preschedule appointments for classroom              teachers just like before.
  • SPED and ESL teachers will have until the end of the day January 31, to schedule their students and enter the appointments online.
  • Related arts will not have scheduled times online. RA teachers will post their office hours on their            website/blog. Please post all of your individual times on one page (Carrie?) and we will use that link.
  • Parents will receive an email/note home with information on/before October 21 with directions and the system going “live” for two weeks starting on October 11
